Lurie Children's uses an online application system to better manage the application and hiring process. Candidates who do not have access to a personal computer are encouraged to use community resources such as a public library for internet access. Our online application system is available through any computer with internet.  Applicants may apply for any open position for which they are qualified. 

Information needed to apply for an open position includes name, phone number, e-mail address, address as well as educational history, employment history with job duties, special skills/credentials, and license/certification information. You will also be required to create a password.

External Applicants:

  • Click the Employment Listings Tab to search current openings
  • Select position of interest
  • Select New Resume/CV
  • Enter required information
  • Select method for submitting resume
    -Copy & paste content of existing plain text resume
    -Upload a resume in .pdf, .doc, .txt, .rtf and/or .html/.htm format
    -Use step by step resume builder
  • You may type in a cover letter (optional)
  • Select finish to apply

OR

Select Existing Resume/CV - to use a resume that you've previously submitted.

 

A confirmation will appear on the screen. Applicants will also receive an email confirmation.

 

If you have already sumbitted a resume using our system,  you may select update your profile to use an existing resume or select new resume/cv.

To apply for openings, current Lurie Children's employees must use the internal job portal accessible through The Point while using a Lurie Children's  computer.  If using another computer you must use the internal job portal web address. If you do not have this information, please contact the Human Resources Department.
